Summer Shipping Update

We hope this message finds you well and that you are enjoying your summer. At Max's Dutch Crunch, we take great pride in providing you with the highest quality, all-natural bread, made with love and care.
As we enter the hot summer months, we want to inform you of a few important updates regarding our shipping policy. Due to the high temperatures, the natural molding process of our bread can occur more quickly. Unlike grocery store brands that contain numerous additives and preservatives, our bread is made with only the finest natural ingredients, which means it cannot remain mold-free for extended periods under less-than-ideal conditions.
Unfortunately, sitting in the back of a UPS truck in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees is far from an ideal storage condition for our bread. As a result, we are implementing a new policy: we will not be able to offer refunds for orders that arrive molded if they have been in transit for more than three days.
To ensure you receive the freshest bread possible, we recommend:
- Placing your orders early in the week to avoid weekend transit delays.
- Choosing expedited shipping options when available.
- Checking the estimated transit time for your selected shipping option at checkout.
- Ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery promptly to avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
- Freezing your order immediately after receiving it if you do not plan to eat it that day.
We understand that this may be an inconvenience, but our commitment to delivering fresh, natural bread remains our top priority. Your understanding and cooperation during these hot summer months are greatly appreciated.
